The Community Development Department provides a variety of development,
business, and neighborhood services directly related to
enhancing the quality of life in Moreno Valley. The Community Development
Department provides development and quality control services
through four divisions:
Ensures all projects are in compliance with City and State building codes. Provides plan review, issues permits and building inspection services .
Division Services:
Respond to citizen complaints. Enforce the City’s Municipal Code & regulations. Provide citywide Parking Control Services and manage various programs.
Division Services:
Implement programs in alignment with the City’s General Plan, Municipal
Code and CEQA. Direct and allocate
resources for current and advance
planning programs.
Division Topics:
Provides dog licensing, low-cost spay/neuter programs, vaccination services, and low-cost dog and cat adoptions at the animal shelter.
