Q. What would I use this unit for?
A. The most common application by far involves a chemical metering pump that can be stroked by an external signal. A meter, usually an MJ-Series (although it could be an EX, IP or TX insertion meter) puts out a stream of pulses proportional to a water flow. The PD10 divides these pulses down to pace the metering pump and allows easy adjustment of the pulse rate to the pump. For more information, see "Using Sensors With LMI Pumps". Most of this information is also relevant to other solenoid-driven metering pumps.

Q. How do I know what number to enter to get my parts per million chemical concentration?
A. See the technical bulletin link above.

Q. How do I power this unit?
A. If the unit is used with a LMI chemical metering pump it gets its power, as well as power for the flow sensor (if needed), from the pump itself.
